Matakana is only one hour drive North of Auckland City. Accommodation at Ambiente is nestled amongst native bush in Matakana's countryside, yet conveniently located close to the charming riverside village of Warkworth and the region's vineyards, galleries, markets and golf courses.
 Directions:
From Auckland, take State Highway 1 (SH1) north to Warkworth.
At Warkworth, turn right at the second set of
traffic lights and take the left fork into
Matakana Road.
Travel about 2km and turn right into Golf Road (you will see Warkworth Golf Course on this corner).
Travel along Golf Road and you will find Ambiente on the left at 61 Golf Road. |
